Use the search tool below to find a doctor, clinic, hospital, pharmacy or other medical facility. Our Canadian Preferred Provider Network allows you to find care when and where you need it. Many facilities on this list offer direct billing. This means that for eligible claims, they will send the bill directly to us, so you don’t have to pay out of pocket. On the search results, check the facility description; if it says “Direct Billing: Yes” you should not be asked to pay up front. When you go to the facility, please make sure to bring your international student health insurance card and photo identification.

Important: if you are sick, you will often find that you get treated faster by visiting a walk-in clinic rather than an emergency room. Emergency rooms in Canada often have wait times of over four hours, whereas walk-in clinics will be able to see you within an hour. Many walk-in clinics also offer evening and weekend hours. However, if the clinics near you are closed and your condition is life-threatening, don’t hesitate to go to the nearest hospital.
